MOCKINGBURGH POLL: THE US OLYMPIC COMMITTEE VERSUS KNITTERS

Last month, the US Olympic Committee issued a cease-and-desist letter to Ravelry, a web-based community of knitters and crocheters. The group had planned to hold the "Ravelympics" during the Games, starting projects during the opening ceremonies and finishing before the completion of the games. Unfortunately, the USOC says the use of that name "tends to denigrate the true nature of the Olympic Games." What do you think about this?

13% - Yeah, those knitters are a menace to society

87% - Nobody has denigrated the true nature of the Olympic Games more than the USOC and IOC
